On Monday, February 15th, Gardnertown Elementary hosted a Colgate Bright Smiles Bright Futures Virtual visit for our students. February is National Children's Dental Health Month and Dr. Martin and Carla Johnson-Parker from the BSBF(Bright Smiles, Bright Future) team provided a class on healthy habits of handwashing, exercise, nutrition, and choosing beverages, with a focus on dental health. This interactive visit provided demonstrations of correct tooth brushing and flossing techniques along with fun dancing the floss. We are always grateful to these excellent professionals for educating our scholars in dental health and inspiring them to visit the dentist and possibly to become dentists!
